Equipment

  • mug

Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoons Nutella
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon Nutella

Instructions

  • In a large mug whisk together the 4 tablespoons of Nutella and the egg.
  • Whisk in the cocoa, flour & baking powder.
  • Drop the additional tablespoon of Nutella into the middle of the cake (you don't need to push it down).
  • Microwave for 90 seconds on medium power (not high power). Carefully check to see if the cake is done (the mug will be hot) - when it's done, the top should no longer look raw on top. As needed, continue to microwave for 15 second intervals on medium power until the top looks set and feels slightly firm or springy to the touch.
