Super thick, super creamy Blueberry CHEESECAKE Milkshake. Seriously upping the deliciousness factor with this ice cream treat!I love cheesecake. But when it’s 85 degrees out, the thought of making a dessert that requires turning on the oven for 60 minutes isn’t very appealing. Which is why this Blueberry Cheesecake Milkshake is here to save the day.
We’re one week into summer and clearly it’s time to bust out the ice cream.
It’s thick, bursting with berries, has that perfect cheesecake tang, and topped with whipped cream and graham crumbs.
If cheesecake & a blueberry milkshake had a love child, this would be it. And thankfully this creamy shake gets all the flavor of both parents but none of the fuss from its cheesecake side.
Because what’s better than delicious blueberry cheesecake in drinkable form that beats the heat & requires no kitchen skills????
Seriously, all you need is a blender and a sweet tooth.
For the ingredients we’re using blueberries, vanilla ice cream, cream cheese and a splash of milk. Then we’re topping it off with whipped cream and graham cracker crumbs. Obviously you could skip the topping – but my taste buds never regret whipped cream.
You’ll love how the cream cheese and vanilla ice cream pair together for the perfect milkshake/cheesecake flavor. I definitely recommend a high quality, creamery-style vanilla ice cream for the best taste.
Then for the berries – you can use fresh or frozen. I used fresh, but if you decide to go the frozen route – don’t worry about de-thawing them first.
The whole thing comes together in no-time flat – so it’s perfect for an easy dessert for your backyard BBQ or a mid-day cool off. You’ll notice I wrote out the ingredients for 2 servings – but you can easily double or triple the recipe depending on the number of lucky people enjoying it.
So if you love blueberries, cheesecake, milkshakes…. this one’s for you.
