I love fresh juices and smoothies. And this blueberry peach smoothie just might be my new favorite. It can be made with fresh or frozen fruit, and because we’re using almond milk – it’s dairy free and lower in calories.

I wanted to find the perfect new smoothie recipe because in a few days I’m going to be on a liquid only diet. I’m going to the dentist to get my wisdom teeth pulled – and needless to say, I’m really nervous.

Say farewell to twenty something years of life experience, maturity, and writing sensical blog posts… Like those ever existed. No – I’ll just be saying goodbye to 4 massive teeth at the back of my mouth that are impossible to clean and cause severe headaches.

So in preparation for a week of soft food – and the fact I spent last weekend drinking sangria, eating ice cream & indulging on this massive chocolate chip cookie cake – I figured it was time for a healthy smoothie.

Blueberry Peach Smoothie

This blueberry peach smoothie perfect for hot summer weather. It’s also delicious in the winter time using frozen peaches and blueberries too. This blueberry peach smoothie with almond milk is dairy free, naturally sweetened & so delicious from the fresh summer fruit. 4 ingredients & perfectly refreshing!

I decided to make this a blueberry peach almond milk smoothie because I love the flavor almond milk gives. Plus it saves you a few calories and is perfect for vegans and people with lactose allergies. I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk because the blueberries and peaches add enough sweetness for me, but you could use sweetened if you prefer.

We’re also making this blueberry peach smoothie without yogurt. Again – to avoid the lactose and save on calories We’ll add some ice cubes to our smoothie to create a thicker texture, and you can also pop your smoothie into the freezer before enjoying if you like an extra thick consistency.

In summary, this blueberry peach smoothie is:

  • Filled with blueberry peach deliciousness
  • Has only 4 ingredients
  • Made without refined sugars
  • Is dairy free
  • Vegan
  • AND completely tasty for breakfast or a snackThis blueberry peach smoothie with almond milk is dairy free, naturally sweetened & so delicious from the fresh summer fruit. 4 ingredients & perfectly refreshing!

So whether you’re forced to eat liquids only – or are just looking for a delicious, healthy, summer time snack – it’s delicious.
